A sprain is a stretched or torn ligament, often in the ankle, knee or wrist. A strain is an injury to a muscle or tendon, often in the back or hamstring.
Many sprains look and feel like breaks. Our on-site X-ray tells you which it is during the same visit.
We splint or support the joint when needed and show you how to protect it while it heals.
You leave with a recovery plan, plus physical therapy with OrthoWest if it will help you heal faster.
Come in if you can't put weight on it, the joint feels unstable, or pain and swelling aren't improving after a few days of rest.
